Description Welcome to Columbia View, situated at 8,800’ elevation at the base of Mt. Columbia in the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness Area, near Buena Vista. This cozy three bedroom cedar-sided vacation cabin has stunning views out every window and is furnished for a comfortable stay. The main living area is on the second level, and includes a bright and spacious great room, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, master bedroom with private bathroom and a powder room. The washer and dryer are conveniently located on this level. The lower level features a den area with a convertible futon, a TV and DVD set up for the kids, a three-quarter bathroom and two bedrooms, one with a Queen-sized bed, the other with two twin beds. For entertainment, there is satellite TV with DVR, DVD/VHS, a Bose stereo system and free high-speed wireless internet. The cabin is located less than 10 minutes from downtown Buena Vista, yet it is very secluded, peaceful and quiet. The two-acre property is heavily treed with evergreens and aspen, and there is an ever-changing display of wildlife year-round. Activities in the area include hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing
and snowshoeing. Dozens of trailheads are just minutes from the
cabin by car. Accessing the Colorado Trail and many 14ers is easily
done in the span of a day hike. Many more activities are also available
in the Arkansas Valley, including whitewater rafting, horseback
riding, hot springs, mountain biking, snowboarding and downhill
skiing. The cabin is five miles from downtown Buena Vista. Pets are allowed only with prior approval. NO SMOKING.

Rates based on 6 person occupancy. $10pp/pn for persons above occupancy. All stays require a $40 laundry fee (plus $5 per person over normal occupancy). Minimum stay of three nights during high seasons. See policies for more information. Stays of two nights or less incur a one-time $110 cleaning fee. Weekly price is based on 7 nights and eight days. Applicable sales and lodging taxes apply. Above defined seasons and rates are for pricing purposes only. House may or not be available for dates above.
